On July 17, 2019, a field day was held in the Issyk-Kul region as part of the activities of the «AgroLead Plus» cooperative on seed potato production and the UN FAO project “Strengthening the Capacity of Agricultural Extension Services in Central Asia on Sustainable Intensification of Crop Production”. An expert agronomist from a Dutch company took part in the field day. The participants studied: •Best practices in seed potato production; •Quality management systems for seed potato production; •Potato varieties and their characteristics in comparison with varieties grown in the Kyrgyz Republic.
