Mobilisation of farmers in the Kara-Suu district under the auspices of the World Bank project

On 28 November 2024, a successful mobilisation of farmers was held at the State Administration of the Kara-Suu District of the Osh Region. The event was aimed at supporting the Productive Partnership ‘FRESH APPLE’ and “PRODUCTION, STORAGE OF GRAIN CROPS AND AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY SERVICES‘ as part of the 7th phase of the World Bank project ’Regional Economic Development in the Osh Region and the City of Osh.”

The event was organised as part of Component 2: ‘Strengthening agricultural supply chains and developing small and medium-sized enterprises’. More than 70 stakeholders, including cooperatives from the region, as well as experts from the AgroLead and representatives of local self-government (LSG), took part in the event. Nurlanbek Rasulovich Kochkorbaev, Head of the Kara-Suu District Administration, opened the event and briefly presented information about the project, calling on the aiyl-okmotu to actively assist in its implementation.
