In August, work was resumed to mobilize farmers for the upcoming 2020-2021 season. Meetings were held in the villages of Karacha, Bai-Munduz, Akman. The total number of mobilized farmers at the moment is more than 60 people. The farmers expressed high interest in participating in the project, as the results of the last season were very good for the farmers participating in the project. At this stage, it is planned to mobilize 250 new farmers with 700 hectares of rainfed lands for the upcoming season 2020-2021. These activities are implemented by the Public Organization Agrolead within the framework of the project «Improving the productivity of rainfed lands in the Bazar-Korgon district of the Jalal-Abad region», as part of the Integrated Rural Development Programme IRDP co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
