PA «AgroLead» is a partner of the UN FAO in the implementation of the project «Strengthening the national capacity in the field of wheat rust control», within the framework of which training is provided on rust management and control for technicians and farmers in Osh and Chuy regions, as well as in the process of developing the National Plan actions for the management and control of wheat rust.
Within the framework of the project, two demo plots were laid in the Osh region in the Kara-Suu state variety testing plot and in the Chuy region, and two crops of wheat were planned – winter and spring.
Sowing of five types of spring wheat: «Dordoy 16», «Dank», «Intensive», «Daria» and «Likamero» has already been completed.
On May 13, a training on the theoretical part was held for technical specialists in the Chuy region with the professor of KSTU Manasa Doolotkeldiyeva T.D. As well as a 2-day training for farmers in Osh region. The theoretical and practical part was conducted by the senior researcher of the Institute of Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Chakaev Zh.Sh.
