Women farmers increase their income through the KOICA project in Kyrgyzstan

The success of women farmers in the KOICA/Good Neighbors International project

PA AgroLead is pleased to announce that women farmers have begun to earn additional income thanks to training provided as part of the ‘Comprehensive Rural Development in the Kyrgyz Republic’ project. Zhoosh Ao Shabolotova Umutkan, a member of the ‘Ogorod’ farming group in the village of Kalinin, successfully completed training in fruit and vegetable preservation and began producing canned vegetables (bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, vegetable assortments, etc.) and jam from various fruits for sale.

To produce the above-mentioned products, Shabolotova uses fruit and vegetables from her own garden, grown in accordance with proper agricultural technology and the recommendations of the project’s expert agronomist.

PA AgroLead would like to express its gratitude to the participants and partners of this event!
