As part of the “Prosperous Region” rural development project, in cooperation with KOICA/Good Neighbors International, a training was held on August 9 in the village of Buzhum, Batken region. The trainer, Nargiza Madumarova, conducted a practical workshop for a women’s gardening group.
During the training, participants learned how to prepare kaka, mojito compote, and eggplant salad.
The session was especially engaging because the women themselves actively participated in the cooking process. The trainer explained that they can process fresh fruits and vegetables from their gardens not only to prepare healthy food for their families but also to sell it, creating an additional source of income.
