On June 11, in the village of Bai-Munduz, Bazar-Korgon region, a Field Day was held within the framework of the GIZ Project «Improving the productivity of rainfed lands in the Bazar-Korgon district of the Jalal-Abad region». The event was held on the basis of fields where demo plots were laid, and its theme was the cultivation of wheat in the Bazar-Korgon region and the improvement of soil fertility in rainfed lands. The Field Day was attended by suppliers of funds and services, consulting organizations, wheat buyers, numerous international organizations, as well as the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Yzabekov Yrysbek, akim of Bazar of the Korgon region Satybaldiev Januzak and international expert of AgroLead Elizabeth Katz. The total number of participants was 115, of which 90 were farmers.

These activities are implemented by the PA «AgroLead» within the framework of the project «Increasing the productivity of rainfed lands in the Bazar-Korgon district of the Jalal-Abad region», within the framework of the «Integrated development of regions» IRDP program co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany ( BMZ).
